The installer confirms the hanging height according to the pendant instructions, fits the canopy or hook assembly, completes the wiring, hangs the body in position, and adjusts the cord or rod so that the fixture sits level. After power-on, the shade, light source and switch operation are checked so that the fixture hangs securely and the light direction matches the pre-installation discussion.
